Acta Astronautica is a monthly magazine published under the auspices of the International Academy of Astronautics . He publishes scientific and popular science works in the field of space research and technology, including related disciplines, such as astrobiology , SETI , space policy , space medicine [2] .

The magazine covers a wide range of topics in the field of space related to [2] :
- peaceful exploration of outer space;
- using the achievements of space technology in progress and well-being;
- concepts, models, development and operation of space and ground systems.
The regular topics of the journal are physical sciences related to the study of outer space, planets and small bodies of the solar system, space biology and medicine, astrobiology, the search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI), space technology, space exploration and colonization, political, economic, environmental, ethical and psychological problems associated with the study and exploration of space. The lighting sphere also includes technologies used for the production of artificial satellites , space transportation and communications, energy in space, astrodynamics , and remote sensing of the Earth . In addition to regularly highlighted topics, the journal publishes the proceedings of the annual International Congress on Astronautics and protocols of the International Academy of Astronautics .
