Biography

Born in the village of Vachi, Kulinsky district . From a young age, Bashir mastered the alphabet of drawing. In 1961 he arrived in Makhachkala , went to work at the art products factory. He studied painting with the national artist of Dagestan Magomed Yunusilau.

He served in the Soviet Army in Dnepropetrovsk in the Ukrainian SSR . On the wall of one of the buildings of the military unit, he painted with indelible colors the Soviet soldier protecting the world on Earth, against the background of the Sun through black clouds - enemies of the USSR. His work was praised by the party leaders of Dnepropetrovsk, who suggested Bashir stay to live in Ukraine. But he returned to his native Dagestan.

Bashir Uvaisov was not only a designer, artist, sculptor, but also a fan of music (Russian folk, classical - Mozart , Verdi , Puccini ). His love of music prompted him to perform the work “Violinist” (Paganini) in May 1967.

The first of his monumental works is the one and a half-ton minted composition “Cranes”, which was installed in August 1979 on the facade of the building at the intersection of R. Gamzatov Avenue and Yaragsky Street in the center of Makhachkala. This is the first work in Dagestan dedicated to the song “Cranes” by Rasul Gamzatov .

Bashir himself minted metal, he himself punched the wall with a jackhammer for fastening, he himself installed this wonderful composition, taking responsibility for the result. A peculiar monument found its place, although the artistic council at that time for unknown reasons did not approve of this work.

From 1984 to 1989 He lived in the Murmansk region , on the border with Norway. In the city of Nickel, his wife worked as a doctor, and Bashir was engaged in chasing. In the city of Nickel, on the facade of the building of the House of Culture "Sunrise", he installed the composition "Muses" measuring 8x24 meters!

All the wonderful lights from the overpass on R. Gamzatov Avenue to them. Lenin in Makhachkala - the work of Bashir. Also, he owns: the Elegy Fountain, lanterns near the Kumyk Theater named after Salavatov and more than two dozen other works of art forging, which Bashir was the first to develop in the republic since the 90s.

At the stadium of the Anji club, a huge shield minted by it is installed - a symbol of the Anji football team.

Until 2013, the artist was engaged in design activities, art forging (small and monumental), oil painting, watercolor).

In 2013 and 2014 [1] , the author's personal exhibitions were opened.

Bashir Uvaisov died after a serious illness in April 2014.
