The women's 10 km freestyle competition at the 2015 World Ski Championships in Falun was held on February 24th .
The race was held in difficult weather conditions, after the start of the “red group” it started to snow wet. As a result, athletes with early starting numbers gained an advantage. So, the little-known 34-year-old American Caitlin Gregg , who never rose above 14th in the World Cup, managed to win a bronze medal, her compatriot Jessica Diggins became the second. The victory was celebrated by the hostess of the competition Charlotte Calla , who found the right key to inclement weather. The entire starry Norwegian team, including Marit Björgen , sensationally ranged from 22nd to 33rd places [1] .
