Biography
From childhood to the present, she has been training under the guidance of her father, Alexander Viktorovich Tsyplakov [1] . In the past, he was also a high jumper, had a personal record of 2.24 m, won the championship of the RSFSR four times [2] .
Daniel began to show high results already in his youth. In 2008, at the age of 15, he took second place in the Russian championship among young men (under 18) with a score of 2.11 m. A year later, he was already the country's best high-altitude player in his age category and appeared in the Russian national team at international starts. At the World Youth Championships in Italian Bressanone, he won a bronze medal with a personal record of 2.17 meters. A few days later he added another 4 centimeters to this result and became the best at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Tampere .
In subsequent years, he steadily became the best in national tournaments, steadily conquering the bar at an altitude of more than 2.20 m. However, at international starts he was not able to realize his potential. Only the 26th place in the qualification of the World Junior Championship - 2010 (took only 2.05 m) and the 4th place of the European Championship among juniors (2.23 m) did not match the level of claims of the athlete.
Despite these setbacks, Daniel's progress continued. In 2012, he took 6th place in the national championship and for the first time in his career he jumped above 2.30 m. The result of 2.31 m meant fulfilling the standard of an international class master of sports . The following year, Tsyplakov began to actively collect medals from various major tournaments. Starting with the bronze of the Russian winter championship , he subsequently won a medal of similar dignity at the country's summer championship , and also became vice-champion of Europe among youth [3] .
In the winter of 2014, Daniel made a 2.34 m jump, selected for the indoor world championship , where he took a high 5th place (2.32 m). He could well have been on the pedestal, but the bar at a height of 2.36 m, which he took in his second attempt, fell when he left the mat. This gave the judge reason to raise the red flag and not count the jump as successful [4] . At the summer championship of Russia in the absence of Olympic champion Ivan Ukhov, he became the first winner and became a member of the national team for the European Championship . Before the continental forum, Daniel set a personal record of 2.33 m at the Russian Youth Spartakiad in Saransk , but could not get closer to these figures at the main start of the season - only 2.26 m, and he again remained 5th .
At the 2015 World Cup, he took 5th place with a score of 2.29 [5] .
