Biography

He graduated from the Law Faculty of Tomsk State University (1953). Since 1953 - Assistant, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, Professor, Head of the Department of Criminal Law, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, First Vice-Rector of Tomsk State University .

In 1991, he was a member of the USSR Constitutional Review Committee.

Since 1993 - member of the CEC of the Communist Party . He was one of the representatives of the CPSU and the Communist Party of the RSFSR in the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation at the trial of the parties in 1992.

Doctor of Law, Professor. Author of numerous scientific and educational works.

Son - criminologist Oleg Vadimovich Filimonov (07/07/1953-21.04.2013).
