Neihuang ( Chinese р 黄 п , Pinyin : Nèihuáng ) is a county district of Anyang Henan Province ( PRC ). The name means "on the inner [north] side of the Yellow River ."

History
The county was created during the Han Empire in 198 BC. e.
After the victory in the civil war , the Pingyuan Province was established in August 1949 by the Communists, and the county became part of the Specialized Puyang (濮阳 专区) District of Pingyuan Province. On November 30, 1952, Pingyuan Province was disbanded, and Puyang Special Region was also disbanded; Neihuang County became part of the Anyang Special Area (安阳 专区) in Henan Province. In 1958, Anyang Special District was annexed to Xinxiang Special Region (新乡 专区), but was recreated in 1961. In 1968, Anyang Special District was renamed Anyang District (安阳 地区). In 1983, Anyang County and the city of Anyang were disbanded and the city districts of Anyang and Puyang were created; Neihuang County was part of the Puyang City District. In 1986, the county was transferred to the Anyang urban district.
