Rudimental

Rudimental ( IPA : [rudimental] , trans. From English - rudimentary ) is a British electronic group formed in 2010 in the suburbs of London - Hackney .

The band has a contract with Asylum Records . In addition, the group has a contract with the independent label Black Butter. The quartet consists of Amir Amor, Piers Agget, Kesi Dryden and DJ Locksmith (Leon Rolle).

They were nominated for the Mercury Prize [1] in 2013 , and won several awards, including the BRIT Awards , and the Mobo Award for Best Album. [2] The group also has nominations at the MTV Europe Music Awards for the best new start [3] . Rudimental have made several platinum albums selling albums and singles in several countries [4] including the UK and Australia .

Career

On February 20, 2012 , Rudimental released the track Spoons together with MNEK and Syron as their debut single from their debut studio album Home. The track did not hit the charts, but received wide rotation at several major radio stations.

The group became famous in 2012 when their single Feel Love, with the participation of singer John Newman , led the UK Singles Chart [5] . After that, they were also nominated for the 2013 BRIT Awards . Feel Love was also used in the opening credits in the Spark: A Burning Man Story documentary.

The team continues to travel around the world and gives concerts both in Europe and in North America , for which it is often nominated for various music awards [6] .
