Thejongdae ( box 태종대 ) is a natural park in the Yondo-gu area of the metropolitan city of Busan , Republic of Korea [1] . On the territory of the park there are rocks located near the open sea at the southern tip of the island of Yondo. It is a landmark of Busan; there are many evergreen trees and several tourism sites in the park, such as an observation deck, an amusement park, a lighthouse, a cruise ship seaport. The name Taejondae comes from the name of King Taejong-Muyul (604–661), the 29th Van Silla, who loved to shoot archery in this place after the unification of the three kingdoms of Korea [2] [3] .
