The Third May National Day is a Polish holiday celebrated on May 3, established in 1919 and renewed 1990, on the anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland on May 3 .

On May 3, 1791, the first constitution of modern Europe was adopted and the second in the world after the American one . The third was the French Constitution . The constitution was adopted by the Great Diet , which was convened in October 1788.
Holiday Establishment
The first holiday was announced on May 5, 1791, two days after the adoption of the Constitution.
Starting from 2007, May 3 is also a national holiday of Lithuania.
