Chatkal State Biosphere Reserve ( Uzbek. Chatqol davlat biosfera qo'riqxonasi, Chatol davlat biosphere қriқhonasi ) is a mountain-forest reserve in Uzbekistan in the Tashkent region , in the western spurs of the Chatkal ridge , part of the Tien Shan mountain system .

The Chatkal State Biosphere Reserve was established in 1947 [1] .
The reserve has an area of 35255 hectares and consists of separate areas: Bashkyzylsay and Maidantal, currently located on the territory of Ugam-Chatkal state natural national park of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Western and Eastern territories. Currently, it became part of the national park, as its reserved cores [2] .
The western territory of the reserve is located on the southwestern slopes of the Kyzylnur mountain (3267 m).
In the gorges Uchhat, Polathan, Big and Small Maidantal is located experimental reproductive area. In 1951, the Chavassay tract was withdrawn from the reserve.
