“Rechkunovsky” sanatorium or simply “Rechkunovka” is a Soviet sanatorium abandoned since 2004. Located on the shores of Berd Bay , in the "Rechkunovskaya recreation area."
General Information
Rechkunovsky sanatorium was built in 1959 and was rightly considered one of the best cardiological health resorts in the country. Initially, it was designed for 200 beds, by 1989 - 700. About 10,000 people were treated here every year. In Rechkunovka, hypertension , cardiosclerosis , coronarosclerosis, neurasthenia and other diseases were successfully treated. Vouchers to the sanatorium were awarded to the best workers of the economy and industry of the USSR , they did not book cheap vouchers for the whole season.
On September 26, 2004, all employees and vacationers were officially announced that the Rechkunovsky sanatorium was closed [1] . Since September 2004, not officially functioning. The official reason for closing is bankruptcy . Initially, the territory was "mothballed", there was a security booth. In the summer of 2005, the territory was no longer “mothballed” and was not guarded. Nearby are the sanatorium "Sosnovka" (on the left side, relative to the "Rechkunovsky" sanatorium) and a private, well-guarded territory (the former public recreation center) "Sibiryak."
Host Information
- Until August 2003, the owners of the sanatorium - the Federation of Trade Unions of the Novosibirsk Region, which is the founder of the Novosibirsk Territorial Resort Council LLC, to which Rechkunovsky was transferred to trust management.
