Biography
Born in Peoria, Illinois, Goodwin began his film career in 1915 as a teenager in Mike's Secret Escape. He also starred in the comedy The College (1927) by Buster Keaton . Goodwin got a role in Keaton’s other film “ Cameraman ” (1928), in which he starred with Buster Keaton and Marceline Day . In 1930, he starred in the film " On the Western Front Without Change " (1930) in the role of Detering.
In the last years of his life, Goodwin primarily starred in Westerns and often worked as a stunt performer for film studios. Goodwin's last tape was the low-budget horror film The Guy Who Talked About the Werewolf (1973).
Harold Goodwin died in Woodland Hills, California, USA in 1987.
