Biography
Born in Texas ( Grand Saline , USA ) on May 4, 1972 (parents - Connie and Donna Tomlin; younger brothers - Ryan and Cory) [2] . He learned to play the guitar on the records of Willy Nelson [3] .
Tomlin married Lauren Bricken on November 9, 2010 [5] [6] [7] . In May 2011, the Tomlin couple reported that they were expecting their first child [8] [9] . Ashlyn Alexandra Tomlin, daughter of Ashlyn, was born on September 22, 2011 [10] . The second daughter (Madison Amore Tomlin) was born on October 7, 2014 [11] .
Discography
The 2013 album Burning Lights debuted at No. 1 on the nationwide hit parade of the Billboard 200 , becoming only the fourth in the history of charttopper among Christian albums. The year before, TobyMac 's “Eye on It” album was No. 1. The second CD of Christian music at No. 1 was LeAnn Rimes ' album “You Light Up My Life - Inspirational Songs” (1997, 3 weeks at the top of the chart). And a few months before, the first in the history of Christian music in the United States was Bob Carlisle's album “Butterfly Kisses (Shades of Grace)” (two weeks No. 1 in June and July 1997) [12] .
