His father was the consul-suffect of 29 BC. e. Potit Valery Messala . In 12 or 6 BC. e. Wolez was at the post of monetarium. In the year 5, he served as an ordinary consul along with Gnei Cornelius Zinnoy Magn . Together with his colleague, he passed the Valery-Cornelius law on the preliminary selection of candidates for positions by ten centuries, consisting of senators and horsemen. In the years 11-12, Wolez was the proconsul of Asia . In the province entrusted to him, he committed an unprecedented crime, executing 300 people in one day. In this regard, Emperor Octavian Augustus sent a letter to the senators [1] . As a result, Wolez was indicted by Fury Saturnin and convicted.
