Biography
Lin Yijun began shooting in 1997. Three years later, she made her way to the Olympic team in Taiwan for the Games in Sydney . There she performed in the double trap discipline, which was first introduced in the Olympics program. Lin passed the qualification with the fifth result, and in the final round she was able to improve her position, becoming the fourth with a score of 134 points (+14 points in a shootout for 4-5 places).
In 2001, at the World Clay Shooting World Championships , which was held in Cairo , an athlete from Taiwan became the second with a minimal gap from the winner from China. A year later, Lahti Lin became a world champion, winning the double-trap competition. At the same time she won both the qualification and the main competition, gaining 143 points.
At the Olympics in Athens, Lin Yijun did not have enough points to qualify for the finals and she took only 7th place.
In 2012, at the London Olympics, she performed in the ladder discipline. In qualifying, she hit 68 out of 75 targets, became the tenth and was unable to get into the final round.
