Among the hosts, small wasps of the genus Trypoxylon were noted: Trypoxylon (Trypargilum) nitidum F. Smith, T. (Trypargilum) rogenhoferi Kohl and T. (Trypargilum) lactitarse de Saussure ( Hymenoptera , Crabronidae ) [2] .
Classification
The species was first described in 1902 under the original name Mutilla frigidula Cresson, 1902 [4] . In 1990, it was transferred to the genus Tobantilla [5] . The valid status of the species was confirmed during a 2011 generic audit by American entomologists Kevin Williams and James P. Pitts , both from the University of Utah , Logan, Utah, and South African hymenopterologist Denis Brothers J. Brothers ; University of KwaZulu-Natal , Pietermaritzburg , Scottsville , South Africa ) [1] . In 2015, it was isolated into a separate monotypic genus Frigitilla [2] .
