Evgeny Aleksandrovich Maslov (April 7, 1966, Tyumen ) is a Soviet and Russian footballer who played in the position of extreme defender , as well as a football coach. Club career
A pupil of Tyumen football, one of the first coaches was Viktor Sergeyevich Khvostov. He made his debut with the Geologist in 1984 at the age of 18, after a break, returned to the club in 1988 and firmly took his place at the base, having played 150 matches over the next four seasons.
In 1992, Tyumen was included in the major league championship of Russia . Maslov played his first top-level match on April 12, 1992 against Uralmash [1] , and scored the first goal on September 3, 1992 against Shinnik [2] . The following year, the Tyumen team with Maslov in the composition played in the tournament of the eastern zone of the first league, became the winner there and returned to the major league, where they spent two more seasons. In 1992-1995, Eugene was a full-time club penalty shooter - out of his 8 goals scored in the Russian championship, he scored 7 from the penalty spot.
In 1996, Maslov left Tyumen and spent two seasons in Tobolsk Irtysh . In 1998, he returned to his native team [3] , which at that time was in distress - in two seasons it rolled down from the major league to the second division. In 2002, he completed his professional career.
As of 2015, Evgeny Maslov holds a club record for the number of matches played for Tyumen - he has 397 games and 21 goals. In the major league, he played 84 matches and scored 8 goals, which is the third result in history after Vladimir Dolbonosov and Oleg Maslennikov .
Coaching career
He graduated from Tyumen State University in 1995 with a degree in trainer and teacher.
In 2004, he headed the team of 17-year-old players, which was called SDYUSHOR-Gazprombank and played in the KFK championship, in several games of that season he himself took to the field [4] . Later he coached this team, renamed Tyumen-Double, then Tyumen-Youth, until the end of 2010 [5] .
Since January 2011, he has been working in the coaching staff of the first team of FC Tyumen .

Two sons:
- Cyril (born 1991) also played football; for several seasons he played for the Tyumen double.
