Biography

Viktor Viktorovich Zayats was born in Chernigov in 1964. Father, Victor Afanasevich Zayats - Gomel region, Braginsky district, the village of Hooks (no longer exists), mother, Nadezhda Ivanovna Zayats, Stepanskaya in the girlhood - the city of Electrostal, Moscow Region. In 1969, the parents broke up, Victor and his mother and sister Elena moved to Elektrostal. Studying at the school was supplemented by a serious passion for painting, at the age of 13 Viktor Zayats entered the folk theater of the Gorky House of Culture and for many years connected his fate with the stage. And in 1979, he went to the capital to receive a working profession - he entered SSPTU number 42 on Bolshaya Kalitnikovskaya street. In 1982-1984 he served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the USSR (Neustrelitz, East Germany). Victor linked his future with the homeland of his ancestors - the small village of Razvezdzha (no longer exists), Kiev region, Chernobyl region. The accident at the nuclear power plant in 1986 destroyed his plans.

In 1985, Victor married, wife Olga Voloshina - the city of Enakievo, Donetsk region. After marriage, he immediately entered the directing department of the Moscow State Institute of Culture, in his third year he was already an actor and also a production designer at the Chamber Drama Theater. Then he was an actor and artist in two more Moscow theaters, and in 1994 he left to work as an artist in the Church of the Ascension of the Lord (Elektrostal).

In 1997, the family - Victor, Olga, the daughters of Anastasia and Sofia - moved to Moscow, where Victor immediately entered the Gorky Literary Institute at the seminar of Roman Semenovich Sef and Sergey Anatolyevich Ivanov. At 34, he became a member of the Russian Writers Union. Since then he has been engaged in publishing and book illustration.

Works in the genre of psychological realism. It is believed that his work mainly relates to children's literature, however, a significant part of Victor's work is adult literature. Victor himself believes that it is not necessary to draw the line: "If a person remains a child all his life, then he is a kind person."

He made his debut in the magazine "Spark", then wrote in the magazines "Worker", "Up to 16 and older", "Kukumber", "Pioneer", in the newspaper "Pioneer truth". Victor Hare’s stories have been published many times in various literary collections, such as Classics, The Shards, The Closed Circle, My Years Are Growing ..., All Year Round, Paradise Is Not Paradise, A Mandatory Reading Book for elementary school ”, etc. The main thing in his works is sincerity, insight and concentrated saturation of the narrative, where in a small text filled with natural humor, huge layers of human destinies, philosophical thoughts and worldly experiences, joyful and dramatic events are hidden.
