Forest Cunningham Award

Les Cunningham Award ( Eng. Les Cunningham Award ) - an award awarded annually to the most valuable player in the American Hockey League on the basis of the regular season, the winner of which is revealed by a vote of the press and league players.

The trophy was presented in the 1947/48 season and named after Forest Cunningham , a five-time member of the national team of all AHL stars and three- time Calder Cup winner, who averaged more than one point per game during his 10-year performance for the Cleveland Barons .
