Biography
He was brought up in the Nizhny Tagil orphanage, studied at the Nizhny Tagil Pedagogical Institute. Then V. Mishatkin studied at VGIK at the directing department (workshop of Yefim Dzigan ) [1] . Training directorial practice was held on the set of the film " Athos " by George Danelia .

Valentin Mishatkin served as the prototype of the novel “Strawberry Time”, the series “Throwing Games”, the stories “Aluminum War” and “The Penny” by S. A. Alikhanov [2] .
Igor Ugolnikov played his first role in Mishatkin’s film “ Meet Me in Tahiti ”.
