A Brief History
It was formed on June 28, 1937 , and was enlisted in the 150th Inter-Brigade: Polish and Soviet volunteers, as well as Spaniards from the Pasyonaria battalion, fought in its composition. At the posts of commanders were the military, who served in the Red Army. On August 4, 1937, two companies of the Palafox battalion were redirected to the 13th inter-brigade, the rest of the battalion moved there in early October. Later, the battalions of Palafox and Mickiewicz merged into the 4th battalion of the 13th inter-brigade. The Palafox battalion de facto existed until the end of the war, until September 23, 1938 .
