Pirogov, Konstantin Mikhailovich

Konstantin Mikhailovich Pirogov ( June 8, 1932 , Ivanovo - December 9, 2014 , ibid.) - Russian scientist and athlete. Doctor of Technical Sciences (1974), Honored Worker of Science and Technology of the RSFSR (1991). The absolute champion of the RSFSR in gymnastics (1957).

Biography

He graduated from the Ivanovo Electro-Mechanical College, a technician for cold metal processing (1950) and a textile institute, a heat and power engineer (1955).

In 1955-1960, assistant, chairman of the trade union committee of the Ivanovo Textile Institute. 1960-1967 process engineer, senior engineer, head of the technology bureau, forge-and-heat workshop, central factory laboratory of the Ivanovo boring machine factory. Candidate of Technical Sciences (1965).

In 1967-1984, associate professor, professor, head. Chair of Economics and Organization of Production, Rector of the Ivanovo Textile Institute.

Since 1984, the head. Department of TOP, STOP and ACS, ITE and OP (information technology in economics and organization of production) of Ivanovo State University.

Doctor of Technical Sciences (1974), Professor (1976), Honored Worker of Science and Technology of the RSFSR (1991), Corresponding Member of the Academy of Technological Sciences of the Russian Federation (1994), Fellow of the Russian Academy of Sciences (1997-2003).

The author of three textbooks for universities.

He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor (1978) and the medal For Valiant Labor (1979).

Honorary Citizen of Ivanovo (2014).

Master of Sports of the USSR. The absolute champion of Russia in gymnastics (1957). In 1956-1960, repeated champion of Russia on individual shells.

In 1959 - the absolute champion of China. Winner and winner of many international gymnastics competitions.

He was awarded the honorary badge "For Merits in the Development of the Olympic Movement in Russia" (2002) and the PRC Medal "For Sporting Achievements in China" (1959).

The eldest daughter Natalia is a doctor of economic sciences, professor (St. Petersburg). The youngest daughter Elena is a candidate of psychological sciences, associate professor (Ivanovo).
