Theron David Egerton ( born Taron David Egerton ; November 10, 1989 [1] , Birkenhead , UK ) - Welsh actor and singer [2] [3] . He made his debut as Dennis (Esbo) Severs in the British television series Smoke. He became best known for playing the role of Gary (Eggsy) Anvin in the film “ Kingsman: The Secret Service ” [4] .

Early life and education
Theron Edgerton was born on November 10, 1989 in the city of Birkenhead in the county of Merseyside ( Great Britain ). His name is a typo of the word "ram", which is translated from Welsh as "thunder" [2] . Theron spent most of his childhood in Llanweir Pullguingill , and at the age of 12 he moved to Aberystwyth with his family. His father manages a hotel chain, and his mother works in the field of social services [2] . At 18, Theron worked at Peacoks for 8 months, and also volunteered in Kenya for some time [5] .
He attended Ysgol Penglais School, in the Aberystwyth area called Winwaur. In 2011, while studying at the Academy, he won the “Student of the Year” nomination in the Stephen Sondheim Society competition [6] . In 2012, Theron graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art [7] .
Career
Theron's first work was an episodic role in the series " Inspector Lewis " [4] . He was later added to the main cast of the series “Smoke” on Sky1 .
The actor played his debut “breakthrough” role in the film “ Kingsman: Secret Service ” (2014). The film has received positive reviews from critics; its IMDb rating is 7.8 [8] . In 2017, the release of the second part, which was called " Kingsman: The Golden Ring ", was scheduled. On February 26, 2016, the United States released the sports tragicomedy Eddie The Eagle , where Theron played the role of Eddie Edwards.
Theron Edgerton was included in the list of the most stylishly dressed men according to GQ magazine in 2015 and 2016 [9] .
