Prize named after B. B. Golitsyn - a prize awarded since 1994 by the Russian Academy of Sciences . Awarded by the Department of Geology, Geophysics, Geochemistry and Mining Sciences for outstanding scientific work in the field of geophysics.
The prize is named after one of the founders of seismology, geophysicist B. B. Golitsyn .
