Lisestrovo is an area near Arkhangelsk , consisting of several villages. Until the 15th century it was the place of residence of the miracle tribes . The origin of the name is taken on behalf of Liszt, a miracle governor living in the area and collecting tribute from the surrounding villages. Officially first mentioned in the Northern chronicles in 1419, as a peasant settlement of the male Mikhailo-Arkhangelsk monastery. Mention of Lisestrov is found in the Lists of Moscow on the Dvina of 1462-1476, as well as in a number of documents of an economic nature (buying and selling of property) dating back to 1478 and 1581.
