Metallurg is a Soviet and Russian football club , representing in different years Sverdlovsk (Yekaterinburg) and its suburb Verkhnyaya Pyshma .

He performed at the stadium “Metallurg” (Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Krivousova St., 15), accommodating 3,000 spectators [1] .

History

It was founded in 1946 (according to other sources in 1963) under the name Metallurg (Verkhnyaya Pyshma) and represented the local city-forming enterprise Uralelectromed . Most of his history performed in competitions of physical education teams. Champion of the Sverdlovsk region in 1966 and 1987, winner of the Cup of the region in 1963 [2] .

In 1988, in order to improve the training of the reserve on the basis of Metallurg, with the participation of the Uralmash football club, the regional sports committee and the army sports club, the Interdepartmental Center for Olympic Training (ICSC) was created. The team became a kind of step between the sports school and the team of masters ("Uralmash"). In the same season, the ICOPA team took part in the championship of the RSFSR among the KFK - took fifth place in zone 3 (“Ural”) [3] [4] .

In 1989, he played in the second league of the USSR under the name "IUIC-Metallurg" (took 20th place in the second zone ).

He played at the amateur level for the next three years: in 1990 in the championship of the RSFSR among KFK in the Ural zone he took first place (fourth in the final tournament in Kamyshin ) [5] , in seventh [6] , in 1992 he took second place in the “Ural” zone of the championship of Russia among KFK , and also won the commercial tournament “Football of Russia”. [7]

In 1993-1996 he played at a professional level (among the teams of masters): in the second league (1993-1996, under the name Uralmash-d) Yekaterinburg - in 1994 he entered the structure club " Uralmash " as its duplicate.

In the following years, he played in amateur competitions.

Since 2004, it again became an independent club, performed under the names Uralelectromed and Metallurg. He took part in the championship and cup of the Sverdlovsk region. At the end of the season 2014 was disbanded [8]
