Biography

Born July 10, 1904 in the city of Odessa , Russian Empire . In 1923 he graduated from the evening Industrial Polytechnic in Odessa.

1923-1927 - in military service in the ranks of the Navy of the USSR Armed Forces . 1927-1941 - in stock: at the Komsomol and party work in Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhya and Kiev reg. USSR , Central Committee of the Communist Party (b) U; from April 1941 - 2nd Secretary of the Poltava Regional Committee of the Communist Party (b) U. In 1937 he graduated from the Courses of Marxism-Leninism at the Central Committee of the Communist Party (b) U.

1941-1945: from September - member of the Military Council of the 38th Army , reorganized into the 1st Tank Army of the Stalingrad Front, in August 1942 a member of the Military Council of the South-Eastern Front , and from the end of August a member of the Military Council of the 1st Guards Army of the Don Front; from October 1942 - member of the Military Council of the South-West , from October 1943 - of the 3rd Ukrainian Fronts .

Since January 21, 1943 - Major General of the quartermaster service . Since April 18, 1945 - lieutenant general of the quartermaster service .

1945-1949: from July - member of the Military Council, from January 1947 - deputy political officer of the commander in chief of the Southern Group of Forces , from April 1948 - deputy political officer of the chief of logistics of the USSR Armed Forces.

September 1949 - February 1950 - student of the Higher Military-Political Courses.

February 1950 - November 1951 - Deputy Civil Administration Commandant of the Kronstadt Naval Fortress . Since January 27, 1951 - Lieutenant General (re-certified?).

January 1952 - May 1953: Deputy Political Officer, Head of the Main Naval Engineering Directorate; Since April 1953, Acting Deputy Political Officer, Head of the Naval Engineering Directorate.

1953-1956: from May - head of the political department of the commander-in-chief's governing bodies, from August 1955 - deputy political officer of the head of the rear of the Navy.

November 1956 - February 1958 - student of the Higher Academic Courses for the Improvement of Political Staff at the Military Political Academy named after V.I. Lenin.

1958-1961: from February, deputy political director of the Head of the Main Military Medical Directorate of the USSR Ministry of Defense; from December 1960, at the disposal of the Main Political Directorate of the Soviet Army and Navy of the USSR Armed Forces

1961-1966: from May - deputy political director of the Head of the Department of Railway Troops, from April 1965 - chief of the political department - deputy head of the Central Directorate of Railway Troops. Lyok V.M. died on August 27, 1966; buried at the Novodevichy cemetery in Moscow .
