List of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Ukraine

In the UNESCO World Heritage List in Ukraine there are 7 names (for 2014 ), which is 0.6% of the total (1121 for 2019). 6 objects are included in the list according to cultural criteria, and 1 of them is recognized as a masterpiece of human genius ( criterion i) and 1 object is included according to natural criteria. In addition, as of 2014, 15 objects in Ukraine are among the candidates for inclusion in the World Heritage List [1] . The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics , which at that time included the Ukrainian SSR , ratified the Convention for the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage on October 12, 1988 [2] . The first objects located on the territory of Ukraine were listed in 1990 at the 14th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee .

This list consists of two tables. The first lists UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and the second lists the sites proposed by the Government of Ukraine as candidates for inclusion in the World Heritage List. All objects are arranged in the order of adding to the list, indicating their location, geographical coordinates, time of creation, year of listing, the evaluation criterion assigned by ID.
