According to the United States Census Bureau , the county’s total area is 7,021,497 km 2 , of which 6,987.827 km 2 are land and 33.670 km 2 or 0.500% are water bodies.
The Belt Creek River flows through the area.

According to the 2010 census [1] , the district has 81,327 residents of 33,809 households and 21,403 families . The population density is 12.00 people per km 2 . There are 37 276 residential buildings in the district, with a building density of about 13.00 buildings per km 2 . Racial composition of the population: white - 89.20%, African - Americans - 1.20%, Native Americans ( Indians ) - 4.30%, Asians - 0.80%, Hawaiians - 0.10%, representatives of other races - 0.60 %, representatives of two or more races - 3.60%. Hispanics accounted for 3.30% of the population, regardless of race .
Of the total number of households , 32.20% are children under the age of 18 years, 52.30% of households are married couples living together, 9.90% of households are single women without a spouse, 34.10% of households households are not related to families , 28.80% of households consist of one person, 10.90% of households consist of elderly people (65 years and older) living alone. The average household size is 2.41 people and the average family size is 2.97 people.
