Ararat Yeghisheevich Mkrtchyan ( Armenian Արարատ կրտչյան , July 22, 1953 , Yerevan ) - Armenian statesman and doctor.

- 1978 - 1983 - worked as a doctor in food hygiene at the sanitary epidemiological station of Yeghegnadzor district .
- 1983 - 1985 - Senior Researcher, Institute of General Hygiene and Occupational Diseases of the Ministry of Health of the Armenian SSR .
- 1985 - 1991 - Senior Research Fellow, Assistant, Academic Secretary of the Yerevan Medical Institute.
- 1991–1992 - Head of the Economic Department of the Ministry of Health of Armenia .
- 1992 - 1998 - Deputy Minister of Health of Armenia .
- 1998 - 2000 - Head of the State Health Agency under the Government of Armenia .
- 2000 - 2003 - was the Minister of Health of Armenia .
- 2003 - 2007 - Member of Parliament. Member of the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture and Youth, and since October 2004 - Member of the Standing Committee on Social Affairs, Health and Environment. Member of the RPA Party .
