Craig Pawson ( born Craig Pawson ; born July 18, 1979 in South Yorkshire ) is an English football referee who serves the Premier League matches , as well as English national cup tournaments. He began to judge the matches of the Premier League in 2013.

Refereeing career
Pawson began his career as a football referee in 1993. Since 2008, he began to serve the matches of the Football League . In 2012, he was the main referee of the playoff final of the Second Football League between Crew Alexander and Cheltenham Town at Wembley [1] .
In 2013, he became a member of the referees serving the Premier League matches . His debut match as the main referee of the Premier League match took place on March 2, 2013, in which Swansea City and Newcastle United met. He showed two yellow cards (both to Newcastle players) [2] [3] .
In April 2014, he was appointed reserve referee for the FA Cup semi- final between Wigan Athletic and Arsenal at Wembley.
