Biography
Born October 12, 1920 in Tashkent , in the family of peasant . The father was killed by the Basmachis in 1922 near Chimkent [1] .
In 1929-1933 he studied at the orphanage named after G.V. Chicherin.
In 1933–1936, he studied at the communications department in Tashkent.
In 1936-1939, he studied at the geological and soil faculty of the Central Asian State University . In 1939, the group where he studied was transferred to the Central Asian Industrial Institute , where he continued his studies until 1945, with a break in 1940-1944, 1946 he worked as a teacher and head teacher at schools in Tashkent.
In 1947-1951 he studied in graduate school and defended his thesis on the topic: "Petrographic and mineralogical characteristics of the Upper Cretaceous sediments of South-Eastern Fergana."
Member of the CPSU since 1950.
In 1951-1957 - senior researcher, and then head of the laboratory of paleogeography at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics named after Kh. M. Abdullayev of the Academy of Sciences of the Uzbek SSR .
Since 1957, director of the Uzbek branch of the All-Union Scientific Research Geological Prospecting Oil Institute (VNIGNI), since 1959 - Director of the newly organized Institute of Geology and Exploration of Oil and Gas Fields (IGIRNIGM).
In 1959 he published the monograph “Lithology of oil and gas-bearing Cretaceous sediments of the Fergana Depression” and in the same year defended it as a doctoral dissertation.
Corresponding Member (1962), Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Uzbek SSR (1966).
In 1967, as part of a team of oil geologists, for his work "Prospects for the industrial development of the new gas and oil region of Western Uzbekistan ( Karakalpak Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic )" became the winner of the IM Gubkin prize .
In 1979, he was awarded the USSR State Prize for discovery and exploration of large gas reserves, gas condensate and gas sulfur in reef complexes of Uzbekistan.
For a series of forecast maps of petroleum potential of the territory of Uzbekistan, he was awarded silver (1972) and gold (1978) medals of the USSR Exhibition of Economic Achievements .
