Hong Kong Space Museum (China: 香港 太空 館) - Aerospace Museum and planetarium under one roof. Located on Chimsachei in Hong Kong . Construction began in 1977 , opened on October 8, 1980 [1] .

Content
Exposition
The Space Museum consists of a planetarium with a characteristic hemispherical shape (an area of about 8,000 m²) and an exposition of the space exploration museum. Most of the exhibits are interactive. In addition, there is a lecture hall, gift shop and offices. [2]
How to get there
The museum is a couple of minutes walk from East Tsim Sha Tsui Station of Hong Kong Metro , not far from Avenue of Stars .
Interesting Facts
- On Wednesdays (as in many other museums in Hong Kong) admission is free.
- Museum visitors can learn a lot about space exploration, for example, that it is mainly the merit of the PRC and, in part, the United States . The USSR and Russia are practically not mentioned (exception - information about the ISS ).
