Summary (from French résumé “summary”) - a document containing information about skills, work experience, education, and other relevant information, usually required when considering a person’s candidacy for employment.
Biography, that is, CV, differs from the resume in volume and, as a rule, is written by candidates for high posts. It provides more detailed than in the summary, information about yourself, your education and qualifications.

Resume Structure
A resume usually consists of several sections, the information in each of which is intended to briefly familiarize a potential employer with all the information about the candidate necessary for his hiring. The summary should not include information that is not relevant to the intended work. The summary should include only the information that will help to characterize you as much as possible.
The summary should contain:
- candidate contact information
- a brief description of the position for which he is applying
- brief description of basic skills
- description of work experience in the specialty in reverse chronological order (usually the last three places of work)
- description of education (diplomas, certificates, etc.)
- achievements and recommendations available
Sometimes, resumes also include information on membership in professional associations, scientific publications, and copyright patents. You can also include information about your hobbies in your resume, it is better if these are active hobbies (for example, sports, tourism, dancing), but such a description should be summarized in brief, and you should not include useless information in your resume. Information on the desired level of salary should not be included in the summary. This is best indicated in the cover letter to the resume. Here you can give any additional explanations to the summary.
In different countries, the structure of the resume, or CV, may vary. Recently, Internet resumes have been widely disseminated, filled out according to a certain template and posted on specialized websites of recruiting agencies. There are also professional services offering the preparation of "literate" resumes.
Currently, online resume generators have appeared, which help to create step-by-step resumes (both classic and original for creative professions).
Another, so far not widespread, type of resume is a video resume, which is a short video in which the candidate talks about himself, his skills, etc. And just like in the case of the Internet resume, there are specialized sites for them, where they can be placed, and companies that record and place them.
