Fictional Biography

Arkon was born of noble birth in the super-spatial world of Polemacus. The people of the Kingdom of Polemacus developed a culture that glorifies the war , and Arkon managed to become the greatest warrior of his people. Appointed by Imperion (ruler) of the largest country on Polemacus, Arkon set up military campaigns against neighboring countries to conquer the world. His dreams were forgotten when Polemakus was faced with a global catastrophe in that the planetary rings disintegrated under the influence of light and high temperature. Scientists Arkona decided that the atomic explosions occurring on Earth, one way or another were able to ignite energy rings during the year. Although Polemacus did not develop nuclear weapons, scientists predicted that if they had atomically destroyed Earth, the energy rings of their world would be restored.

To this end, Arkon manipulated the hero, known as the Scarlet Witch , in a recitation of magic spells , which is in the book of Polemacus to allow Arkon to transport himself to Earth. Attracted to the Scarlet Witch and intent on marrying her, Arkon kidnapped her, as well as a group of nuclear scientists. Scientists were forced to build an atomic device. Before Arkon could blow it up on Earth, however, the team of the superheroes of the Scarlet Witch, the Avengers fought against Arkon. Iron Man and Thor were able to restore the Polemacus energy rings through a super device, invented by Starck, and Arkon stopped hostilities with the Earth. [one]

The Avengers had reason to reconsider the world of Arkona when their comrade, the Black Knight , was captured, looking for the Good in the Center of Time. Arkon ceased hostilities with the Avengers when he learned that Amora the Charmer from Asgard had deceived him, and later reconciled with the Avengers. [2]

Although his world now possessed atomic weapons , Arkon was unhappy with the length of time it took to build a nuclear arsenal. Thus, he developed a plan to push the three super-spatial worlds, one of which was the Earth, on top of each other, in the hope that the energy gained from a nuclear disaster could be absorbed by his world. His elaborate machinations failed due to the efforts of the Fantastic Four . [3]

Arkon was forced to return to Earth again, when the machine that Iron Man once built to ignite the Polemacus rings, broke down because of Arkon’s fussing with it. Arkon drove to Earth to pick up Thor to reload the car, but since Thor left the Avengers, he agreed to a mutant from the X-Men , known as Storm , who also had the ability to trigger lightning, forcing her teammates to follow them. After a grand battle, the conflict was settled in a friendly way. The storm by means of the Cyclops' optical explosions helped to re-restore the Energy Ring, and Arkon returned the Storm and its allies to Earth. [4] On another occasion, the X-Men and the Fantastic Four helped Arkon to ward off the extra-spatial invasion of the alien race Badun from Polemacus. [five]

Arkon was later prompted by a dream offering to return to Earth because Hollywood films were made about him. These subliminal persuasions were from Amora-Enchantress. She was given the task of killing Doctor Strange during the campaign of “ Acts of Retribution ” (where all the main villains came together tried to see what would happen if the “exchange” of opponents led to the defeat of their heroic enemies). Arkon fought against the Wonder Man to punish him for appearing in the film Arkon and told him to warn the studio not to do it again. [6] The charmer deceives Arkon against Doctor Strange, but with the help of Adhesives , they were able to defeat her. [7]

Some time later, Arkon traveled to Earth to use the Avengers of the West Coast and the Fantastic Four as pawns during a war with rival outsiders Tundra, until he made peace with Tundra, realizing that they shared a strong mutual attraction. [8] Later, with Tundra as his wife, Arkon sought help from the Avengers in order to restore the Polemacus energy ring and protect Astra's virgin from becoming a human victim to the religious fans of Polemacus led by High Priest Anskar. [9]

Arkon, Tundra and all the inhabitants of Polemacus were last seen exterminated by Krona during the JLA / Avengers mini-serial crossover. However, since this happened in the inter-firm history of the crossover, Arkon, Tundra and the inhabitants of Polemacus were revived when the mini-series ended. [10] This also indicates the subsequent appearance of the Tundra in the Marvel Universe, since the mini-series has ended.

Strengths and abilities

Arkon has many superhuman abilities, including great superhuman strength (up to 65 tons), speed, endurance, agility, reflexes and longevity. Arkon also has an accelerated healing factor that allows him to quickly heal damaged tissue when he is injured. While his entire nation possesses the same physical attributes, Arkon is much more developed than most of his race.

Arkon is a cunning military strategist. He is an extraordinary hand-to-hand fighter and swordsman, and is highly skilled in using his throwing weapons, which were developed by the scientists and craftsmen of Polemachus.

Arkon owns a collection of three energy zippers, styled as lightning strikes, which he carries in his quiver. Each lightning has certain functions and color. Golden lightning bolts are used to open gates to various spatial dimensions. Scarlet and black lightning are used as offensive weapons and produce strong explosive explosions when they hit a target. He also wears a shield.

Arkon, as it was known, rides dinosaurs and reptiles, some of which walk on two legs, and others on four. Other reptiles that he uses have wings that allow them to carry him through the air.
