The Occitan Party ( Partit Occitan ) is a regionalist political party in France . The Occitan Party was organized in Toulouse in 1987 as a result of the merger of Occitan movements such as Volem Viure al Païs , Païs Nòstre , etc.
The main program goal is the organization of the Occitan political movement, independent of the policies of other parties, and advocating broad autonomy for Occitania . In addition, the program includes environmental and social democratic elements.
The Occitan Party is a member of the European Free Alliance , which has several seats in the European Parliament .
