Pincus, Anton Evgenievich

Anton Yevgenyevich Pankus (born November 4, 1989 , Tchaikovsky , Perm Region , USSR ) is a Russian athlete specializing in middle-distance running . Silver medalist of the championship of Russia in the 2014 room in the women's 1500 meters. Master of Sports of Russia .

Biography

At the beginning of his sports career, he combined athletics with sports dancing , where he achieved some success. Together with partner Louise Safina in 2009, he won regional tournaments in Sarapul (European program) and Izhevsk (biathlon) [1] .

From 2010, he began to purposefully prepare for track and field competitions under the leadership of Viktor Vasilyevich Sozinov [2] . The main specialization of the athlete became the distance of 800 and 1500 meters. He spoke at the Russian Championships of 2011 and 2012, but occupied only places in the second and third ten in the final protocols. In 2012, completed the standard master of sports .

Significant progress in the results of Pincus for the first time was achieved in the summer season of 2013. At the team championship of Russia at the end of May, he took the 4th place with a personal record of 3.43.50. After 2 months at the summer national championship in the tactical final of the 1500 meters distance, he took 6th place (3.48.55). Finally, in the winter season of 2014, Anton was resigned to another height - the silver of the national championship . In a bitter struggle for the title, he lost only 0.02 from the winner Valentin Smirnov , seriously improving his personal record - 3.41.67 [3] .

In 2014 he graduated from the Tchaikovsky State Institute of Physical Culture.
