The three-headed Golec is the highest point of the Primorsky ridge in the Baikal region . Located between the Olkhonsky and Kachugsky districts of the Irkutsk region . Three peaks stand out clearly on it, which are clearly visible from the side of Lake Baikal .

Located in a tundra treeless zone, it has a dome-shaped appearance. It has gently sloping slopes without any vegetation, covered with curums , which can be climbed from any side [1] .
From here originates the Sarma River, which flows into Lake Baikal . Also here, the Central Ilikta River (a tributary of the Ilikta , the left tributary of the Lena ) originates.
