Neoris huttoni is a lepidopteran species from the peacock-eye family. Wingspan 103-117 mm.

Habitat and habitat
Central Asia. It inhabits biotopes with tree-shrub vegetation mainly on the slopes of the foothills. It is especially common at altitudes of 1500-2500 m above sea level.
Biology
It forms one generation per year, eggs winter. Butterflies fly from mid-August to September. Like other types of saturnia , Neoris huttoni do not eat at the adult stage, which is why their life span is limited to 2-3 days.
After mating, the female breaks off eggs ( gray ) with semicircular “lines” of 10-20 pieces. In total, in the laying of one female there are 150-300 eggs.
Caterpillars are not strict monophages, but prefer pistachios and wild almonds . Also eat Fraxinus , Pyrus , Salix , Prunus padus , Ligustrum , Rhus .
Before molting, the caterpillars make a spider web lining on dry branches and stick to it. By the end of its development, the tracks reach a length of 80 mm. The pupal stage lasts 4 months. Pupa 30–35 mm long.
