Biography
Born in a family of Finnish emigrants who came to the USSR in the early 1930s.
In 1953 he graduated from the Agricultural College in Sortavala .
Since 1957, after graduating from the Leningrad Theater Institute , he was an actor of the State Karelian-Finnish Drama Theater .
In 1974 he graduated from the Higher Director's Courses in Moscow.
In 1974-1994 - chief director of the Karelian-Finnish Drama Theater. He put in it more than 20 performances of various genres.
In 1980-1991, he headed the board of the Karelian branch of the All-Russian Theater Society.
Since 1995 lives in Finland .
