History
Gogol Street was named in the early 1940s [1] in honor of Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol (1809-1852) - a Russian writer and playwright, one of the recognized classics of Russian literature. In May 1961, at the request of citizens, a passage near the meat processing plant was connected to Gogol Street, connecting the Suzdal highway with the railway crossing to the village of Sokol , since the passage is a natural extension of Gogol Street.
