Biography
Born June 2, 1931 in the town of Dobroe in a Jewish family. Before World War II he lived in the village of Kaganovich, Odessa region . Father, Gersh Chernilov, was killed during the Holocaust in August 1941 [1] . Brother Anatoly (born in 1923, a native of the village of Novopetrovskoye in the Novoodesky district of the Nikolaev region) in 1941 graduated from 10 classes. In 1942 he was mobilized into the ranks of the Red Army and died in battle in 1943.
In 1938 he entered the 1st grade of primary school. In 1941 he was evacuated to Kazakhstan. In 1944 he returned from evacuation to Voroshilovgrad . In 1945 he moved to the city of Krasny Luch, Voroshilovgrad region, where in 1947 he graduated from 7 classes. In the same year he entered the Krasnoluchsky Mining College, which he graduated in 1951 with honors, then at the Artyom Dnepropetrovsk Mining Institute , where in 1956 he received a diploma with honors.
Since 1956 he worked at the Krivorozhsky mining equipment plant "Communist", since 1964 - the head of the drilling rig bureau. In 1967 he moved to the Central Scientific Laboratory of Automation (TsNILA) of the Eastern Mining and Processing Plant in the city of Yellow Waters. In 1972 he defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic "Study of the feeding devices of drilling machines for underground work", Ph.D.
Co-author of 44 patents [2] [3] . Over 30 published works.
Rewards
- The 1966 Lenin Prize in the field of technology - for participation in the development of scientific foundations, the creation and implementation of a complex of high-performance mechanisms for drilling wells in underground conditions.
