Pentaplatinaterbium forms crystals of the rhombic syngony , the cell parameters are a = 0.5278 nm, b = 0.9092 nm, c = 2.644 nm, the structure of the pentaplatin samarium type is Pt 5 Sm [1] [2] .
The compound is formed by the peritectic reaction at a temperature of ≈1700 ° C [2] .
