Compilation technique, use
Direct elements in the preparation of dry bouquets are placed in the center of the composition, drooping around them [1] .
Dry plants and arranging material in dry bouquets are strengthened in plasticine laid on the bottom of the vase or other similar plastic material; sometimes use crumpled and laid soft wire, raw sand, moss . The components of compositions created not in containers, but on the plane, can be fixed by pressing them with stones or pieces of glass [1] [2] .
Dry bouquets are recommended for decorating the living room. In this case, compositions placed in flat vases or plates located on low tables are usually used. For the design of bedrooms, dry bouquets are not recommended [3] .
Some dried parts of plants are stained before use in dry bouquets. So, for example, they often come with foxtail inflorescences.
Dried flowers
Species of plants, the dried parts of which have remained decorative for a long time, are called dried flowers [~ 1] , or immortelle [~ 1] , or immortel [4] . Dried flowers are distinguished by a good attachment of inflorescences (fruits) to the pedicels (stalks), as well as the fact that their color does not change with time.
A significant number of plants used in composing dry bouquets belong to the families Asteraceae , Cereals ( Poaceae ), Umbrellas ( Apiaceae ) and Gilts ( Plumbaginaceae ) [4] .
Some plants related to dried flowers:
- Winged Ammobium ( Ammobium alatum ) from the Aster family [4] .
- Ground reed ( Calamagrostis epigeios ) from the Cereals family [4] .
- Some species of the Kermek genus ( Limonium ) of the Piggy family, including the Kermek notch ( Limonium sinuatum ), which is valued for its non-fading bluish (blue-violet) wheel-shaped calyx [5] , and Kermek Perez ( Limonium perezii ) with larger ones compared to the first type of inflorescences of various colors [4] .
- Rhodanthe chlorocephala subsp. rosea - Rodanta green-headed subspecies pink [syn. Acroclinium roseum ( Acroclinium pink )] and other cultivated species of the Australian genus Rodant of the Astrov family [6] . The indicated species is notable for flowering leaves of various colors (from transparent white and pale pink to raspberry red), as well as baskets with tubular flowers, which combine brown-black and yellow color [4] .
- Many species of the genus Bog ( Briza ) of the Cereals family are the Bog medium ( Briza media ) [4] , the Bog large ( Briza maxima ), and the Bog small ( Briza minor ). They are distinguished by decorative wide-spreading inflorescences, panicles, bearing private inflorescences compressed on the sides - spikelets hanging on thin branches [7] .
- Bract Tsmin ( Helichrysum bracteatum ) from the Aster family [4] .

- ↑ 1 2 The terms "dried flower" and "immortelle" with the same Russian names for the plant genera Xeranthemum and Helichrysum (both from the Astrov family ) should not be missed.
