Club career
Toranso began his professional career at River Plate Club. Due to the high competition, he rarely went on the field and was twice leased to get game practice at Quilmes and Atletico Rafael , respectively. In 2007, Patricio moved to Huracan . On April 18, 2009, in a match against Argentinos Juniors , he scored his first goal for a new team [1] . In the same year, Patricio helped the team take second place in the Argentinean Example .
In the summer of 2010, Toranso moved to Racing from Avellaneda. On August 8, in his match against the All Boys , he made his debut for a new club [2] . On December 4, Patricio scored his first goal for Racing in a duel against La Gimnasia La Plata . [3] In 2012, Toranso was on loan for All Boys.
In March 2013, Patricio left to work in China , signing a contract with Shanghai Shenhua . On March 9, in his match against Tianjin Ted , he made his debut in the Chinese Championship [4] . On March 18, Toranso scored his first goal for Shenhua in a duel against Shanghai Shaanxin [5] . In early 2014, he returned to Huracan. On February 4, 2015, in the first round match of the Libertadores Cup against the Peruvian Alliance Lima , Patricio made a double [6]
International Career
February 11, 2010 in a friendly match against the national team of Jamaica, Toranso made his debut for the national team of Argentina [7] .

Crash
On February 12, 2016, the bus in which the Hurricane players returned after the match of the Libertadores Cup against the Venezuelan Caracas rolled over, as a result of Toranso, due to the injuries, he lost four toes [8] .
