- February 18 - Battle of Rakovors , defeat of the Crusader Knights of the Livonian Order by Pskov Prince Dovmont and Novgorod Prince Yuri Andreyevich.
- March – May — the Mameluk Sultan of Egypt, Baybars I, captures Jaffa , one month after a ten-day siege, the Beaufort Castle ( April 15 ), and then storms Antioch and conquers the lands of the Principality of Antioch . Antioch is completely destroyed.
- August 23 - Konradin , the last of Hohenstaufen , was defeated by Karl of Anjou , brother of the French king , at Tagliakozzo . On the territory of Sicily and Naples , the authority of the Anjou branch of the Capetian House is established.
- Visiting the Volyn prince Vasilk Romanovich, killed the Lithuanian prince Voyshelk . (Possibly 1267).
- King of Serbia Stefan Uros I invaded the Hungarian banquet Machva with an army. Serbs devastated Machva. Hungarians led by Bela Rostislavich defeated the Serbs. King Stefan Urosh was captured, from where he was forced to redeem himself.
- The Hungarian prince Istvan V began a war with Bulgaria.
- Byzantine Emperor Michael VIII Paleologue signed a truce with the Republic of Venice. The war of Genoa and Venice is still ongoing.
- Pope Clement IV dies . The election of the new pontiff lasted for three years.
- 1268, 1271 - The Mongols send ambassadors to Japan demanding that they obey the authority of the great khan. The Shikkans do not answer these messages.
- In 1268, Scandinavian sources preserved the news regarding the trading place of Björke (later Koivisto, now the city of Primorsk in the Kaliningrad region) that it was “under the peace and protection of the (Swedish) king Waldemar Birgerssson and Novgorod ”. An agreement providing for such joint ownership of the Baltic harbor has not reached us.
