The series consists of all silver coins in denominations of 10 hryvnia. Coins of the series do not have a single design obverse and reverse [1] [2] [3] .

The beginning of the issue, the release of the series coins and the issue of the first coin (“Cue”) was announced by the NBU letter dated June 29, 1998 [4] . The issue of other coins of the series was reported by NBU letters: “Daniil Galitsky” - dated June 30, 1998 [5] , “Askold” - dated June 29, 1999 [6] , “Olga” - dated January 18, 2000 [7] , “Vladimir the Great "- from September 25, 2000 [8] ," Yaroslav the Wise "- from February 26, 2001 [9] ," Svyatoslav "- from October 23, 2002 [10] ," Vladimir Monomakh "- from November 22, 2002 [11] .
