In the 1988 NHL draft, he was selected in the 6th round under a total 167 number by the Montreal Canadiens team. On June 24, 1993 , Anaheim Mighty Ducks team selected the expansion draft. June 29, 1994 traded in the Ottawa Senators . November 18, 1997 traded in the " Carolina Hurricanes ." On July 1, 2000, as an unrestrictedly free agent, he signed a contract with St. Louis Blues . December 5, 2001 traded to the Carolina Hurricanes . On July 15, 2004, as an unrestrictedly free agent, he signed a contract with Florida Panthers . On August 15, 2006, as an unrestrictedly free agent, he signed a contract with New York Islanders .
