Russian Athletics Championship 2015

The Russian Championship in Athletics 2015 was held August 3 - 5 in Cheboksary at the Central Olympic Stadium. Competitions were qualifying for the Russian national team to participate in the World Cup , held August 22 - 30 in Beijing , the capital of China . The competition was attended by 794 athletes from 65 regions of the country [1] . Over 3 days 38 sets of medals were played.

On January 9, 2017, the Sports Arbitration Court disqualified the Russian 400-meter runner Maxim Dyldin for four years for refusing to undergo doping control. The athlete's results shown after May 22, 2015 were canceled, including first place in the 400 meter race at the 2015 Russian Championship with a score of 46.04. In accordance with the rules, the result of the Perm Territory team ( Maxim Dyldin , Denis Alekseev , Aleksey König , Pavel Ivashko ) in the relay 4x400 meters (first place, 3.04.99) [3] was also canceled.
b On September 27, 2016, the International Association of Athletics Federations published a list of athletes disqualified for doping violations. Among them was the Russian runner Ildar Minshin , suspended from the competition for 2 years on the basis of deviations of blood counts in the biological passport . Its results from August 15, 2009 were canceled, including 1st place in the 2015 Russian Championship in 3000m hurdling with a score of 8.34.46 [4] .
On February 1, 2019, it became known that the Sports Arbitration Court, on the basis of McLaren’s report and testimony of Grigory Rodchenkov, found 12 Russian athletes guilty of violating anti-doping rules. Among them was a high jumper Ivan Ukhov . All his results from July 16, 2012 to December 31, 2015 were canceled, including second place in the Russian Championship - 2015 with a score of 2.28 m [5] .
d On September 26, 2017, the All-Russian Athletics Federation announced a 8-year suspension of the Russian hammer thrower Kirill Ikonnikov . Rechecking his doping test taken at the 2012 Olympics yielded a positive result for turinabol . All athlete results shown from August 5, 2012 to October 8, 2016 were canceled, including second place at the 2015 Russian Championship with a score of 75.87 m [6] .

e On January 26, 2017, the International Association of Athletics Federations published a list of athletes disqualified due to doping violations. Among them was the Russian 800-meter runner Anastasia Bazdyreva , who was removed from the competition for 2 years on the basis of deviations of blood counts in the biological passport . Its results from April 23, 2014 were canceled, including first place in the 2015 Russian Championship in the 800-meter race with a score of 2.01.42 [3] .
f On November 29, 2016, the Sports Arbitration Court in Lausanne decided to disqualify the Russian middle distance runner Ekaterina Sharmina (Martynova) . The athlete was suspended from the competition for three years, and her results after June 17, 2011 were canceled, including second place in the Russian Championship 2015 in 1,500 meters with a score of 4.05.87 [7] .
g On 2 August 2017, the All-Russian Athletics Federation announced the disqualification of runners Yekaterina Doseykina . Based on the data of the biological passport, it was concluded that the athlete used doping. Its results from August 5, 2015 were canceled, including third place in the 2015 Russian Championship in 3000m hurdling with a result of 9.45.17 [8] .
h On February 1, 2017, the All-Russian Athletics Federation announced a disqualification of Olga Kucherenko for 2 years in length. Her doping test from the 2011 World Cup was positive. All results of the athlete from August 28, 2011 were canceled, including third place in the championship of Russia in 2015 with a score of 6.59 m [9] .
i On April 19, 2017, the All-Russian Athletics Federation announced a 2-year suspension of hammer thrower Anna Bulgakova . Her doping test, taken at the 2013 World Cup , tested positive for dehydrochloromethyltestosterone. The results of the athlete from August 16, 2013 to August 15, 2015 were canceled, including third place in the championship of Russia - 2015 with a score of 68.38 m [10] .
On February 1, 2019, it became known that the Sports Arbitration Court, on the basis of McLaren's report and testimony of Grigory Rodchenkov, found 12 Russian athletes guilty of violating anti-doping rules. Among them was a hammer thrower Maria Bespalova . All its results from July 17, 2012 to October 26, 2015 were canceled, including fourth place in the championship of Russia - 2015 with a score of 67.16 m [5] .

Russian Winter Throwing Championship

The Russian Winter Long Throwing Championship 2015 took place on February 22-24 in Adler at the athletics stadium of the Yunost sports complex [11] . At the competitions, the composition of the Russian national team for the performance at the European Cup in winter throwing was determined. The first start after the birth of twins was made by World Champion 2011 in javelin throwing Maria Abakumova . She took only the second place, but was pleased with her performance [12] .

The results of the athlete from August 16, 2013 to August 15, 2015 were canceled, including the first place in the Russian winter long throwing championship - 2015 with a score of 72.15 m [10] .

Russian Winter Racing Championship

The Russian Winter Race Walking Championship 2015 was held on February 27-28 in Sochi on the basis of FSUE Yug-Sport. Men competed at distances of 20 km and 35 km, women at 20 km [13] . According to the results of the tournament, the composition of the Russian national team for the May European Walking Cup was determined. The best result in the history of women walking 20 km was shown by the current European champion from Mordovia Elmira Alembekova . However, its result 1: 24.47 was not ratified as a world record due to the absence of three international category judges in the championship [14] .

Russian Mountain Racing Championship (up)

The 16th Russian Mountain Racing Championship (up) was held on April 4, 2015 in Zheleznovodsk , Stavropol Territory . The participants identified the strongest on the track laid on the slope of Mount Beshtau . Competitions were accompanied by cold weather, snow and a strong wind. 97 participants (67 men and 30 women) from 29 regions of Russia took to the start [16] [17] .

The Russian spring cross-country championship was held on April 25, 2015 in the city park of Zhukovsky , Moscow Region . 4 sets of awards were awarded. Men competed at distances of 4 km and 8 km, women - 2 km and 6 km.

Russian Marathon Championship

The Russian Championship in Marathon 2015 was held on May 11 in Kazan as part of the 1st Kazan Marathon. Participants twice crossed the 21.1 km circle laid along the central streets of the city. Start and finish was located on the square near the Kazan Arena . Yuri Chechun and Sardana Trofimova for the first time in their careers became Russian champions in the marathon.

Russian Mountain Racing Championship (up and down)

The XVII Russian Championship in mountain running (up and down) was held on May 16, 2015 in the village of Toksovo , Leningrad Region . Competitions were held at the local Military Institute of Physical Culture. 61 participants (44 men and 17 women) from 12 regions of Russia went to the start. The winner among men was 19-year-old Konstantin Galiullin , ahead of the current champion Alexander Terentyev . Nigina Poptsova , like a month and a half ago in Beshtau , again won the women's race in the national championship [18] [19] .

The Russian Championship in daily running was held May 16-17 at the Iskra stadium in Moscow as part of the 24th day running super marathon. 60 athletes from 24 regions of Russia (49 men and 11 women) took to the start [20] .

Russian All-Around Championship

Champions of Russia in the all-around (men's decathlon and women's heptathlon ) were determined on June 8-10, 2015 in Cheboksary . Competitions were held at the Central Olympic Stadium. The strongest in the country for the first time in their careers were Sergey Timshin and Lyubov Tkach . Both newly made champions updated their personal bests with 7984 and 6151 points respectively.

Russian Walking Championship

The Russian Championship in race walking 2015 was held June 12-13 in Cheboksary . 3 sets of medals were won at the Olympic distances of 20 km for men and women and 50 km for men. The route was laid along the embankment of the Volga River Bay.

10,000-meter Russian Championship

The Russian champions in the 10,000 meter race were decided on July 19. Russian 100 km Running Championship

The Russian 100 km championship was held on September 6 in St. Petersburg . Competitions were held on Krestovsky Island on a 2.5 km long circle laid along the rowing canal. 31 athletes from 12 regions of Russia (22 men and 9 women) went to the start. The country’s championship in 100 km running was again held on the highway after a three-year hiatus: in 2012-2014, the strongest at this distance were revealed in the winter in the Moscow Krylatskoye arena. Nikolay Yanalov confidently won the men's race with a result of 6: 34.48 [25] [26] .

Russian Relay Championship

The Russian Championship in the non-Olympic relay race was held in Adler from September 7 to 10, 2015 at the athletics stadium of the Yunost sports complex [27] . One new Russian record was set. For the second year in a row, the Irkutsk Oblast team ( Ruslan Nigamyatyanov , Dmitry Buryak , Evgeny Panasenko , Roman Tarasov ) became the strongest in the Swedish relay race of 800 + 400 + 200 + 100 m with a national achievement of 3.06.17.

Russian Half Marathon Championship

The Russian half marathon championship took place on September 12 in Novosibirsk as part of the traditional XVIII half marathon by Alexander Raevich [30] . Russian Mountain Racing Championship (long distance)

The 9th Russian long mountain running championship was held on October 25, 2015 in Krasnaya Polyana , Krasnodar Territory . 43 participants (27 men and 16 women) from 13 regions of Russia went to the start. Yuri Tarasov for the fourth time in a row became the champion of the country at a long distance [35] [36] .
