Ippolito Fiorini (c. 1549-1621) - Italian composer and lute player. He was conductor of the chapel of Alfonso II, Duke of Ferrara , in 1568-1597.

Biographical information about his life is scarce. He began his activity as a composer in 1570 [3] . He performed not only administrative functions at the chapel, managing all his musical life at the court of Ferrara , but also directly participated in various events, including the so-called , conducted by . He played in the , composed the music for the Donn ballet, and was responsible for the Accademia della Morte from 1594 to 1597. He wrote psalms, motets , masses, sonnets, madrigals .
